Non-Logical Thought

The four basic precepts of
NON-LOGICAL THOUGHT

Reality is Thought.
Logic restricts Thought and thus restricts Reality.
Abandon Logic, abandon restriction.
Unrestricted Thought equals unrestricted Reality!

Good thing I'm an Engineer, huh?

You Are 25% Left Brained, 75% Right Brained

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

Scarry, these quizzes are...

You're Texas!

You aren't really much of your own person, but everyone around
you wishes you'd go away, so you might as well be independent.  You're
sort of loud-mouthed and abrasive, but you do have a fair amount of power.  You
like big trucks, big cattle, and big oil rigs.  And sometimes you really
smell.  But it's not all bad, you're big enough to have some soft spots
somewhere in all that redneck madness.

I took this one twice... just to be sure!

You're Stranger in a Strange Land!

by Robert Heinlein

Most people look at you and think of you as a Martian, even though you
were born on Earth. Silly Earthlings, er, people. Anyway, you've been telling people
about free love and relaxing like it's some radical idea. Most of them want you to go
back to the '60's (or Mars), but others are in your groove. Grok on!

Animals?

You're a Wasp!

Brutal and dangerous, you are capable of wreaking havoc on others
with little remorse. You love mud and seem to appear out of nowhere whenever
people find a bit of wet dirt. You have a fierce temper and don't mind
resorting to it whenever people get in your way, especially by hogging all
that wonderful mud! Your home is where your heart is, but is also relatively
flimsy and ugly. You are almost unquestionably white, Anglo-Saxon, and
Protestant.

I blame Jellybean

You're the University of Santo Tomas!

You are a strong believer. Among your many beliefs are the
ideas that the ends don't justify the means, but war can be justified under
certain circumstances. While you believe you brought the light to an
enormous number of people, others claim that you were only copying an earlier
idea from someone next door. This battle may never be resolved, but you're
glad that the Spanish-American War was. All you need is love.

Latest bits of bloggy goodness.

Well, it's been a little while, but here's the latest:

  • Christmas music all this month on Ink 'n Doodles Radio!

  • I've finally started re-vamping my author website. Check it out over at RobSuarez.com.

  • Joe Tunon's music has been getting some good exposure. His songs are getting played on podcasts from California, Germany, and the UK. Check out Joe's stuff on his website and on his podshow page.

  • I am in the middle of (what I hope is) my last round of revisions of "Murder by Design". I've decided to release this initially as a podcast novel (audio book) to see if it will stand on it's own merits.

  • I've recently re-discovered Podiobooks. I say re-discovered, because they recently updated their website design and it is much better. Check them out... free audiobooks, delivered to you podcast agregator on your schedule. Did I mention that they are free?

Well, that's all for now. Later!

Shadow Falls

I'm hooked on a radio drama podcast called "Shadow Falls".
Check it out (rated PG-13)!

Show description:

For every light that shines... a SHADOW FALLS. Podcasting's first professionally-produced original drama series, SHADOW FALLS tells the eerie tale of a remote Northeastern town that holds secrets some will kill to protect and others will die to expose. Settled 300 years ago by the survivors of a mysterious tradgedy, the people of Shadow Falls have become pawns being used by two supernatural forces seeking to win a war older than time itself, a war which many believe could trigger the Battle of Armageddon, and wipe out humanity as we know it.Those with alliances believe the time has come once again for the cycle to begin anew as two young women have vanished just as a pair of very mysterious strangers have come into town. This time, they believe this war will finally be decided once and for all and all their toil and sacrifices will be rewarded. What they don't know is that they're wrong.Dead wrong.Spun from the wicked mind of author and screenwriter Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff, SHADOW FALLS is a fully-immersive and addictive mystery that will leave you gasping for breath and begging for mercy.Just don't expect to find mercy here.

My name on a plate!

So I was driving around today, minding my own business, when I see this car pass me by. I don't know if you can make out his tag in the picture but it says "ROBSUA"! What are the odds?

Andrew and Brendan

Here are a couple of studies of Andrew and Brendan (who figure prominently in the Secret Society of Seven Sorcerers). This is not a final character design... just some studies. Enjoy!
